If you're wondering..."what's up with the frequent updates all of a sudden?"
i'm having a 3-day holiday after my mid-term exams ^^

so how did i spend it?

what else could i have done? bungee-jumping? road trip?
yea. maybe when im 25 and free from parental control.

first, i fulfilled my duty as a jay chou fan by watching Kung Fu Dunk despite bad reviews from my friends. See how loyal I am, jay chou?

my poor boyfriend had to accompany me while he watched me drool and squel over jay.

ok. to be honest, i'm now a part time jay fan, still like his music but won't go crazy over him and flood my blog with jay pictures.

okok! There i was in the cinema...so excited to see my leng chai jay
when...

me : why his hair so so-hai wan? like mushroom head :(

but all is forgiven when he started kicking ass and shooting hoops.

overall, i had to admit...its a pretty nonsensical movie but if slapstick humour is your cup of tea and you don't take movies too seriously or pretend you're a movie critic, you'll find the movie not bad. Hey, if you can enjoy Spongebob Squarepants, I'm sure you can enjoy this movie.

but i'd prefer Secret over this anyday, gotta love Jay's directing skills. The basketball scenes could have been more enjoyable if it weren't for the noisy soundtrack where the lyrics can be heard really clearly. I prefer upbeat music with no lyrics for sports scenes.

What I like:

  • two words. jay chou
  • hot guys playing basketball..just oozing with manliness.
  • funnyman eric tsang was there. you know..that guy that says SUPERR is the SuperTrio Show

What I dislike :

  • inappropriately noisy soundtrack
  • random scenes that make you go.."huh?"
  • Jay chou's mushroom hair
  • the confusion over two star players that look alike, just that one has more facial hair.
  • the overexposure of Jay's armpit hair.

when the movie was over, my boyfriend said.."This is the dumbest movie I've ever watched"

bah! he's just jealous :P
