Buying a RM109 Harry Potter book from MPH instead of a RM69 one from Tesco?
Same book. Same story. Same paper quality. Same smell.
So why do people still want to buy the RM109 one? It's not like the Tesco one is the pirated version.
My friend ruwan's one of them, according to him, he refuses to give in to the price wars.
In my opinion, who cares, we're the consumers, as long as we get the lowest price and no animal gets harmed in the process, why not?
I guess that's the reason why people fight for what they believe in even though others might think otherwise.
Like why do people bother supporting original CDs when they can easily save their hard-earned money and perhaps donate it to the charity?
I guess people choose to do certain acts because of the meaning behind it.
Wonder how it feels like to fight for a cause...I wouldn't know because I never really feel strongly about anything to fight for it. Like..I think cruelty towards animal is wrong, but I wouldn't go on campaigns
I feel like I'm aimlessly rambling here but I would like to give credit to those people who fight for a positive cause because they're definitely doing it with the intention to make a change despite the fact that they're definitely not benefiting themselves.
By the way ruwan, I still don't think you should buy the RM 109 book, Rowling and the book suppliers are already very very lucky people.
To be fair, guess you do gain emotional satisfaction when you own a book that worths more.
i'd rather use the money and buy original jay chou cd.
i contradict myself, don't i?
