Today, we did our chem peka which involved using Silver Nitrate solution with Sodium Chloride or Potassium Cloride solution.

Mr. Sheat : Unless you want to look like a dalmation, don't let the Silver Nitrate solution come in contact with your skin...

then he was saying that if it is exposed to sunlight, it will undergo some "photochemical" reaction and form brown percipitate.

After classes...
me : Haha, Arif! What happened to your hand? (I thought he accidently touched some wet brown paint or something)

Arif : eh, you also got la!

me : *looks at hand* ahhhhh!!!!

I seriously didn't know I touched any Silver Nitrate solution. Well, it's pretty explainable since I was the one measuring the solutions and pouring them into the beaker. Mr. Sheat said it'll take weeks to fade....
